Bryggeloftet is Bergen’s oldest continuously operating restaurant, serving high-quality traditional Norwegian cuisine for over a century. Located on Bryggen, at the heart of Bergen, the restaurant offers a menu inspired by local culinary traditions, with a strong focus on fresh seafood. From their famous Bergen fish soup and flavorful mussels to perfectly prepared halibut, Bryggeloftet celebrates the best of the ocean. The menu also features Norwegian specialties such as grilled reindeer fillet, expertly crafted to honor the country’s rich food heritage.
Guests can enjoy their meal in one of the restaurant’s two dining areas. The second-floor dining room offers stunning views of Vågen and the lively Fisketorget, while the first floor is divided into both small and large rooms—perfect for everything from intimate dinners to larger gatherings.
On the first floor, you’ll also find Stuene, the restaurant’s historic dining hall dating back to 1910. With its traditional décor and warm atmosphere, it provides a truly unique dining experience.
