Bien Basar is located in Kjøttbasaren, right in the historic center of Bergen. The restaurant serves a wide range of classic dishes made with local ingredients from both sea and land. Its signature dish is Bien’s Persetorsk—sugar-salted cod that is gently soaked in water before being prepared.
Bien Basar also offers daily specials, featuring a selected dish at a lower price than the regular menu.

The spacious indoor setting, combined with arched ceilings, creates a unique dining experience. Guests can choose to sit at individual tables or dine at the large bar surrounding the open kitchen, where they can watch the chefs at work.
