Western Norway and Bergen have one of the world's leading, most diverse and highly concentrated environments related to the ocean industries and marine research. The region is home to a unique number of businesses in the marine and maritime sectors, from shipping to seafood. The ocean capital of Bergen and the Western Norway region are leaders in research and innovation internationally. On Saturday 05 April, we will showcase some of these.

Along Festningskaien, there will be exhibitions and demonstrations of technological innovations from the region's companies. Here, the public can get to know the city's shipping companies and the navy, learn about the energy solutions of the future, board open ships, have a great time in the seafood tent and lots more.
