Fonnalaks might help provide some answers to these questions. This vessel is equipped with an onboard factory. The onboard factory is designed to ensure quality and fish welfare throughout the entire process.
Every day Fonnalaks is collecting thousands of salmon from the fjords around Vestland, and is one of the biggest and newest of its type.
During your visit onboard you will also have the opportunity to meet the crew. How is it to work on a vessel on the Norwegian coast?
Come onboard and see how the fish is transferred from the fish farms to processing factories before ending up on the dinner table in Norway and around the world.
