How can the world’s most beautiful coastal route also become the world’s greenest? Maritime CleanTech and Havila welcome you onboard the world’s most environmentally friendly coastal route ship for a technology seminar and networking event during One Ocean Week.

Equipped with the world’s largest battery pack in its vessel class, the Havila Polaris and its sister ships can already sail for four hours without emissions or noise. But Havila Kystruten has even greater ambitions: they aim to sail emission-free all the way between Bergen and Kirkenes by 2030.

On Monday, April 16, you can come aboard the Havila Polaris and experience the state-of-the-art in environmentally friendly maritime technology. Onboard, you’ll hear from leading industry and government actors about their vision for achieving zero emissions for the coastal route.

You’ll also get a taste of Havila’s sustainable food concept, based on the finest local ingredients with minimal waste.
